Join The Art Collective for an inspiring weekend class in portrait drawing!
From the Ancient Greeks until today, the portrait has been central in the creation of art. In our two-day workshop we will be following the path of the old masters and look at the many different parts that makes up a portrait!
Instructed by Elias Kallestein, student at Oslo National Academy of the Arts, you will learn how to draw the human head and the different ways in which we can break it down into smaller segments. We will look at proportions and anatomy as well as applying these techniques and learn to draw from a live model.
After the course you will be equipped with multiple techniques and know-hows of portrait drawing, and hopefully make more sense of an old and complex topic!
All materials are included and no prior experience is needed.
NOK 1950,- for both days.
(There will be 45 min lunch break so bring lunch if you prefer not to buy something from the many cafes in our neighbourhood.)
