G5 Offshore Cranes are used for lifting operations between fixed and floating offshore installations. Proper training is essential to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations under demanding conditions.

Course delivery
The theoretical part is conducted as classroom training with lectures, discussions, group work and exercises. The theory module may also be completed through live online training with an instructor.
As part of the complete G5 training programme, participants will continue with simulator training and supervised offshore crane operation before the final practical assessment.
