Course content:
1) Introduction to Offshore Chemicals:
• Overview of chemical types, their forms, and their applications in offshore environments
2) Risk Assessment and Safety Data Sheets (SDS):
• Learning the importance of chemical risk assessments and interpreting Safety Data Sheets to manage substances safely.
3) Chemical Exposure and Effects:
• Explanation of exposure routes, potential health impacts, and environmental consequences of hazardous chemicals
4) Control Measures and PPE:
• Overview of best practices, control measures, and specific PPE requirements when handling hazardous substances
5) Legislation and Hazard Communication:
