Our Norwegian course for beginners is ideal to learn Norwegian quickly and confidently with an improved level of fluency that you can use in your social or professional life.
Our A1-A2 Beginner Level is ideal for everyone both on short-term or long term stays in Norway. Based on the language levels as described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), our teaching methods, catering for each student, make improving your Norwegian skills a pleasant and achievable task.
Your Norwegian lessons will be purely in Norwegian, so knowledge of the English language is not required. This also means that you will focus on speaking and understanding Norwegian from day one and learn Norwegian fast and efficiently. At the end of your course in Oslo you will have considerably improved your speaking and comprehension skills in Norwegian.
After completing the course, you will be able to:
greet people in Norwegian
ask basic questions using simple sentences in the Norwegian present and past tense
have basic Norwegian conversations about everyday activities (such as buying groceries and ordering in a café)
describe simple activities in the Norwegian past and present tense
tell the time in Norwegian
count in Norwegian and use Norwegian numbers
talk about your and others’ activities in Norwegian
have simple discussions in Norwegian using basic reasoning (therefore, because)
order tickets in Norwegian
get a course certificate which confirms the number of hours in your course
Choose what fits you best
Choose what best suits your interests, needs and time availability. You can attend sessions once a week (Saturdays only, 6 lesson hours per session), twice a week (2 or 3 lesson hours per session for classroom-based courses and 2 lesson hours for online Norwegian courses, Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday) or four times a week (Monday – Thursday). Each lesson hour lasts 45 minutes.
You can choose to attend our courses at our school in Oslo or via Zoom. Certified, experienced teachers for one-on-one or group classes. All of our prices are in NOK.
