Module 1 - Introduction to UX design:
• Gain a deep understanding of the UX process, including how AI is influencing the field
Module 2 - User research fundamentals:
• Learn why research underpins UX-and how AI can support and plan your approach
Module 3 - User research methods:
• Master usability testing, surveys and more, and understand the limits of using AI for real research
Module 4 - Research analysis:
• Translate research into insights, with support from AI-powered analysis techniques
Module 5 - Introduction to portfolios:
• Start to build your UX portfolio to showcase your project work
Module 6 - Heuristics:
• Understand how to use heuristics to assess the usability of your products
Module 7 - Structure and navigation:
• Learn how to define a clear structure and information architecture for your products
Module 8 - Interactions:
• Understand the key components of an interaction and how they facilitate smooth user experiences
Module 9 - Introduction to Figma:
• Get familiar with Figma - the industry-standard design tool

• Master design patterns to create intuitive and consistent user experiences
Module 12 - Designing for mobile:

Module 14 - Prototyping in Figma:
• Build interactive prototypes in Figma, with a look at emerging AI prototyping tools

How you will be assessed:
Part 1 - Project work:
• You are required to submit 8 mandatory projects (see page 29). You will be given a grade (with feedback) for each project submitted. The project account for 60% of your overall assesment.
Part 2 - Online exam:
• Once all projects have been submitted, you can sit the online exam. The exam is multiple choice and it can be taken at any time and place that suits you. Re-sits are available if you don’t pass first time. The online exam last for 120 minutes and makes up the remaining 40% of your overall assesment.
