Engine Room Simulator - Operational Level Electro-Officer ST 626 This is the Engine Room Simulator Course on Operational Level for Electro Officers. The course is based on IMO model course 2.07 Engine Room Simulator.
On completion of this course, the participant will enhance knowledge and skills related to operation, supervising and monitoring the safe operation and control of ship's machinery in accordance with A-III/6 of the STCW Code
The course includes:
• E-Learning
• Familiarization.
• Monitor the operation of electrical, electronic and control systems.
• Monitor the operation of automatic control system of propulsion and auxiliary
machinery.
• Operate generators and distribution systems.
• Operate and maintain power systems in excess of 1,000 volts.
• Detect and identify causes of machinery and electrical malfunctions and correct faults.
Engine room simulator:
Practical training according to time-schedule and competences mentioned above.
Duration:
19 hours including E-learning. 2 days at site. One day shorter duration (4hours) on site due to e-learning.
