We provide DP refresher for drilling course - NI approved. To make sure that DP operators keep pace with the developing standards in a fast changing industry, DPOs renewing their certificates will now be asked to demonstrate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as well as experience.
Learning objectives:
This course allows DPOs to refresh their knowledge on DP operations, DP Bridge team work, Emergency DP resource Management and to stay current with the latest industry guidelines. The scheme is designed to help all DPO’s maintain their knowledge of the latest industry guidance and operational best practice and to meet the requirements for revalidation of DPO certificates.

Target group:
DPOs renewing their certificates as part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme
Entry requirements:
• A valid NI DP Certificate issued by the Nautical Institute and between 30 - 150 days sea time in the last 5 years. If the course participant has more than 150 days, he can also choose to take the Refresher course (every 5 years) as part of his certificate revalidation process. (If NI annual CPD requirement is not fulfilled successfully).
