The course is designed for personnel who will use lifting gear in their work situation. The course is basic for those who are, or wish to become, a crane operator. The course is continually updated to current standards and will provide participants with enhanced competence.

• Disposal Policy for Lifting equipment
• Wire rope, chain slings, fiber slings and shackles, etc.
• Safe use of Lifting equipment
• The Use of Tables to Determine Proper Choice of Lifting Equipment
• Signals and Signs
• Weight Assessment
• Wire rope and Elevator cable
Målgruppe for kurset:
Personell som skal benytte løfteredskap i sin arbeidssituasjon. Kurset er grunnleggende for alle som er, eller skal bli kranoperatører. For offshore tilsvarer kurset O-1.1 (Fagplan 2702).
