Norwegian authorities require that necessary training is given to workers within FSE (Regulations concerning work safety and the operation of electrical installations). This is a requirement for working on both high and low voltage installations.

The training is to be repeated annually and it should never be more than 12 months between training sessions. The course covers the annual FSE review and includes a section on first aid in electrical accidents.
