The Sun StorageTek 5800 Administration customer training course provides the students with the knowledge to successfully describe, configure, maintain, and administer software and hardware. Students will receive classroom training and hands-on lab experience with the Sun StorageTek 5800 system.

Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
• Utilize the functions and features of the Sun StorageTek 5800 system
• List the components and architecture of the Sun StorageTek 5800 system
• Use the Application Programmer Interface (API) to access the Sun StorageTek 5800 system and perform queries
• Administer and monitor the Sun StorageTek 5800 system

• General knowledge of networking and redundant array of independent disks (RAID)
