The course will provide crane operators with a good theoretical introduction to bridge and overhead cranes, and it will give the participants good insight into the crane´s construction and method of operation.

• The structure of various types of bridge and overhead cranes
• A review of current laws and regulations
• Mechanics - forces that impact various constructions
• Electricity
• Lifting Equipment
• Competence control and crane documentation
• Crane installation
• Signals and signs
• Weight assessment and table use
• Crane operation instructions
• Wire rope and elevator cables
• Drums and Wire rope sheaves
The course contains these modules:
• Module 2.7 = 16 hours
• Module 3.7 = 8 hours

Alle som trenger krankurs i G4 traverskran - modul 2.7 og 3.7. Kurset er for de som jobber innen industri, bygg og anlegg, offshore og sjøfart.
Forkunnskaper:
• Forutsetter gjennomført og bestått modul 1 og 2.3

Eksamen / sertifisering:
Upon passing a theoretical and practical exam, it will be possible to issue a certificate of competence G4.
